Passing is enough: a C still kindles

Perfection is a wet log. It looks solid and will not catch. Kindling grades the week like a kind teacher: C passing at 70%, B strong at 80%, A Kindled at 90%. That is not lowering a standard. That is telling the truth about a human week.
Highlight a habit. Read the scorecard. If it says C, you showed up more days than you didn’t. Feel that. Let a partner see it without you translating it into failure. Numbers can be lanterns. They do not have to be gavel.
Share the grade as a spark
If you share a graphic, share it as proof you returned — not as a trophy that expires. “I earned a B in water this week” is a warm sentence. It invites a “well done,” not a “why not A.” The people who love you will know what to do with that.
“You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”
Keep the system. Keep the list small. Keep the grade honest. The flame is the returning, and returning is already Kindled enough for today.
